Llegamos a uno de los platos fuertes programados para este segundo trimestre. Lo podéis ver en nuestro calendario de actividades, nos vamos este largo puente de Mayo al Campamento las Cabañas, en la provincia de Soria.
Es una actividad pensada para las familias, en un entorno privilegiado en plena Sierra de Urbión, en la que podremos disfrutar de unos días de descanso en plena naturaleza y donde las posibilidades de ocio son infinitas, desde la práctica de nuestros deportes favoritos, hasta excursiones a la Laguna Negra, al Pico Urbión o las sierras de La Demanda, La Cebollera o Neila, o recorrer el cañón del río Lobos o los sabinares de Calatañazor o la Fuentona de Muriel.
Muchos ya conocemos las instalaciones y el entorno ya que el pasado mes de Octubre disfrutamos allí de un magnífico fín de semana micológico. Recomendamos visitar en CALENDARIO DE ACTIVIDADES en el archivo de octubre 2007 la pregunta que se abrió a tal efecto.
Hemos hablado con Sportanoe, la empresa que gestiona el complejo y nos mantiene las mismas condiciones y los mismos precios. Recordamos brevemente que estamos hablando de cabañas de madera unifamiliares ubicadas en un pinar, cercado, a orillas del Embalse de la Cuerda del pozo. La cocina, el comedor, los baños y un edificio de usos múltiples con dos habitaciones y una gran sala se encuentran aparte. Tenéis más información junto con fotos en www.sportanoe.com
Precios: los mismos que la otra vez. 25 euros por día los adultos y 19 los niños. Gratis hasta los 3 años. Recordad, es precio por alojamiento y pensión completa. Incluye el uso de todas las instalaciones como son las piraguas, bicis, tiro con arco, material de escalada, porterías de fútbol, etc, etc.
Esta actividad familiar está abierta a todo el mundo, vecinos, amigos, familiares. Nos dan la posibilidad, avisando con suficiente antelación, de estar el día o los días que queramos y nos cobrarán únicamente en función del tiempo que estemos, desde el miércoles 30 por la tarde al domingo 4 después de comer.

Nosotros vamos: 2 adultos y un niño de 18 meses. Hoy o mañana mismo confirmo los días, pero en principio jueves, viernes y sábado.
¡Ah! Lo olvidaba: la espada también viene, que estoy a mes y medio de la miniQuebranta...
Y mi familia también, incluso la madre de mis niños. Todavía no sé si llegaremos el mismo miércoles o el jueves. Y como davidmozo dice yo también llevaré la burra, junto con mis zapas. Buenísima idea la de repetir en mayo lo que hicimos el otoño pasado: deporte, fraternidad, visitas culturales, excursiones, juegos de mesa, etc.
Manolo, confirmo:
2 adultos y un crío de 18 meses.
Llegamos jueves por la mañana y nos volvemos sábado a última hora de la tarde. O sea: comida y cena jueves; desayuno, comida, cena viernes; desayuno y comida sábado.
Existe la posibilidad de que si se nos da bien el miércoles, salgo pronto, hacemos rápido las maletas, el niño está de buen humor, saturno y júpiter entran en conjunción y Carmen no anda muy cansada nos dé el pronto y nos vayamos el miércoles al final de la tarde, pero entonces avisaría.
Respecto al tiempo, iremos viendo cómo va la semana que viene... A ver si hay suertecilla.
Animaos que, de momento, con Juanete y nosotros ya somos 8.
La familia vila navarro aporta dos adultos, dos niños, un bebé, dos perras, tres bicis y muchas ganas de pasarlo bien, desde el miércoles noche al domingo después de comer.

Ya tengo la carrera, David, de nuevo tenemos dos equipos, como en el Ekiden, el "A", liderado por Juanete subirá a la Laguna Negra con la de montaña por pistas forestales sobradamente conocidas por él. Y en el "B" vamos tu y yo tambien a la Laguna Negra pero por asfalto y desviándonos antes a la presa del embalse para compensar un poco. Tienes que ir a la quebranta como un avión.
¡Buena ruta, Manolo! Si soy capaz de seguirte, gano la quebranta... De los Nietos, tú verás qué bici vas a llevar: ¿la de los 28-26 o la de los 50-10?

¡vaya llenazo de las cabañas! me dicen que tanto el cañón del río Lobos, como la cascada de la Fuentona están que se salen de agua, o sea, que un par de excursiones con los niños pueden ser bonitas para ver un expectáculo nada usual. Yo llevo la familia al completo si Miguel logra reponerse de un virus que le tiene machacado. Sobre lo de subir a la Laguna negra en dos grupos, perfecto, quedamos allí, guardamos las bicis y nos enfundamos las zapas para ya todos reunidos subir al Pico de Urbión haciendo trecking. Es que conviene entrenar las transiciones del duatlon. ¡miguelito reponte que ya queda poco!

Hola a todos... Recupero el comentario de Manolo con las instrucciones que nos dió en octubre para llegar a Soria...
"Volviendo a la tierra y pasando de la poesía a la literatura prosaica, os explicaré brevemente cómo llegar al Campamento Las Cabañas:
Nos ponemos primeramente el chip de la bici de carretera y "pedaleamos" como siempre, hacia Manzanares el Real, y pasando por Soto y Guadalix de la Sierra llegamos hasta la NI, que la cogeremos dirección Burgos.
Ya en la NI, bajando del Pto Somosierra en el km 103 cogemos a la Derecha la N110 dirección Soria.
Pasamos por Riaza (circunvalación), Ayllón y San Esteban de Gormaz. Saliendo de San Esteban cogeremos la N-122 dirección Soria. Iremos unos kilómetros por autovía (los únicos de la provincia) en la que sería la circunvalación de El Burgo de Osma. Al terminar la autovía se sube un puertecillo, y en el descenso (no muy pronunciado) encontraremos en una larga recta de bajada un cartel que indica a la izquierda el pueblo de Abejar. Éste es el único cruce conflictivo, no hay hecha ninguna raqueta, giráis diréctamente a la izquierda, dirección Abejar. En este cruce hay una gasolinera Cepsa a la izquierda.
Dicha carreterilla, muy estrecha, nos lleva hasta Abejar. Abejar esta en la carretera que une Soria con Burgos. Nosotros iremos dirección Burgos unos 500 metros nada más para girar a la derecha dirección vinuesa.
El Campamento Las Cabañas está a 8 kilómetros de Abejar. Siguiendo esta carretera que va a Vinuesa, dejaréis un camping a la izquierta, pasaréis debajo de un paso de ciervos muy llamativo, de madera hasta que os encontréis un cartel que ponga a la derecha Campamento Las Cabañas y Camping El Frontal. Bajais, dentro de un pinar, y en el siguiente cruce giráis a la derecha dirección Las Cabañas"
Amigos/as, acabo de conectarme con la AEMET y con el NOAA norteamericano y las previsiones meteorológicas resultan excelentes para la práctica del deporte y el relax sorianos. No se esperan mínimas por debajo de 5 grados, ni máximas por encima de 24. La probabilidad de precipitación no superará ningun día el 30% (y caso de haberla de apenas 1 mm) y el viento no nos molestará. Eso sí, no hará mucho sol y habrá nubes más o menos densas. Parece que Miguelito (no el machaca del duatlon sino mi hijo, Riddick)ya se recupera por lo que espero que pueda venir también. Nosotros seremos 5 personas (3 niños) y saldremos el jueves temprano. Creo que ese jueves por la tarde podría ser una buena idea salir con los niños a visitar la Fuentona y su cascada (me han dicho que lleva agua, por lo que sería una oporunidad única). Está cerca, hay un centro de interpretación interesante y muy buen montado, y Calatañazor queda al lado. A la vuelta podríamos hacer una carrera continua de regeneración para los maratonianos.
Pues salen 10 familias, 20 adultos y 17 niños, un plantel sensacional. Ya se lo he comunicado a mi hermano Pablo y no hay ningún problema, que va a haber más gente pero que diez cabañas están ya reservadas y que el que antes llegue antes elige.
Respecto al cómo se llega, ya David ha estado al quite y lo ha copiado de la otra vez. Lo único que no está del todo bien puesto es el último párrafo. Es decir, cuando estemos en la localidad de Abejar, saliendo del pueblo cogeremos una carretera que sale a la derecha donde pone Molinos de Duero y no Vinuesa. En esta carretera cogeremos, unos 8 km más adelante, otra carreterilla a la derecha, más estrecha, encajonada en un pinar donde pone Playa Pita. Y 500 metros más adelante, de nuevo giraremos a la derecha dirección al Campamento Las Cabañas.
Para cualquier duda, por si acaso, llevaros apuntado mi movil, 620925579.
Cuestiones prácticas: por el día hará buena temperatura, pero por la noche puede hacer frio, llevar ropa de abrigo, el comedor, aunque esté aislado por gruesas cortinas está al aire libre. Si tenéis sacos llevarlos, es lo que más abriga y lo más práctico en estos sitios. Las cabañas no tienen calefacción, hay mantas y sábanas, se pueden poner calefactores eléctricos en dos o tres cabañas nada más, ya que saltan los fusibles. De todas maneras para los más frioleros o urbanos en el pabellón cubierto hay tres amplias habitaciones con calefacción.
En cuanto al programa o actividades, las propuestas de Juanete me parecen muy oportunas. En esta época del año y con todo lo que ha llovido estos días las rutas por el Cañon del río Lobos o la visita a la cascada de Muriel (que hace perfecto pareado con Samburiel) me parecen más que oportunas.
Concretando: puesto que la gran mayoría viaja el Jueves, yo dejaría la tarde libre por el campamento, para no volver de nuevo a coger el coche, donde podríamos usar las canoas, pasear a playa pita, echar una pachanguita al fútbol, escalar la chimenea, tirar con arco, etc, etc.
En atención a nuestra figura Jose Miguel, que no estará el Sábado, el Viernes haríamos la ruta con la bici de montaña. Saldríamos tempranito y subiríamos a la Laguna Negra u otra ruta más larga todavía que nos llevaría a los mismos piés del Pico Urbión, a más de 2000 metros. Nos reuniríamos en la Laguna Negra con nuestras mujeres y niños, que previamente habrán pulido la visa haciendo turismo por Vinuesa.
El Viernes tarde podríamos visitar el centro de interpretación medioambiental de Muriel, viendo la Fuentona y la cascada.
El Sábado por la mañana sería interesante recorrer el Cañon del Río Lobos, una bonita ruta de unas dos horas apta para todas las edades (los bebés mejor en mochilas).
El sábado por la tarde ya muchos se van, los que nos quedemos ya veremos qué nos apetece, probablemente descansar.
¡Menuda pandilla! ¡37 personas! No está nada mal...
Finalmente sólo llevaré la bici de montaña, me habéis convencido entre todos...

Hubo de todo, machaque hasta el mismísimo Pico de Urbión con las bicis de montaña, excursiones con los niños, relax, piraguas, prácticas de escalada en árbol, un lujazo. Y sobre todo buen ambiente. Mis niños están encantados. Mi familia se lo pasó en grande con la compañía y con tantas actividades. Deporte y amistad me parece que es lo que distingue a esta asociación deportiva y lo esptamos logrando con salidas como las de este puente de mayo por tierras sorianas.
Qué barbaridad, vaya lujo de puente. Mejor imposible.
Hubo de todo. Para los que no fuísteis contaros que hicimos un etapón terrible, estuvimos tres horas y media subiendo sin parar con la de montaña hasta la misma base del pico Urbión, a más de 2200 metros, fue una etapa épica, era tal la dureza, que acabamos llegando de uno en uno, tipo Anglirú. Si se hubiese televisado hubiéramos roto las audiencias.
Hubo piraguas con las familias, escalada con los crios y no tan crios, paseos en bici por los alrededores con los chavales, excursiones a la Fuentona y al Cañón del Río Lobos, etc, etc.
Y sobretodo muy buen ambiente, muchas risas y buenos momentos.
Saco en claro que tenemos como Agrupación un futuro inmenso, lleno de posibilidades y con un largo camino por delante donde poder vivir bonitas experiencias.
Que vacaciones tan estupendas, lastima que nos tuvieramos que ir el sabado antes dde lo previsto.
lo cierto es que despues de mas de seis años sin coger una bici de montaña me habeis enganchado de nuevo a este gran deporte.QUE GRAN ETAPA la que hicimos en la subida al pico Urbion que bien estuvimos, enhorabuena a todos puesto que sois unos craks de la MTB.

Para nosotros ha sido un puente inolvidable. Yo todavía conservo un recuerdo físico en el hombro, rodilla,cuello, muñeca...., pero eso, seguro, se pasará. Lo que no se borrará fácilmente y seguro dejará profunda huella son los días tan agradables que hemos disfrutado en las Cabañas, rodeados de buena gente.
Actividades de todo tipo, canoas, arboling, ascensión al Urbión, fusionándose amistad, bici y montaña, marchas familiares por entornos de cuento y muchos niños disfrutando alegremente y sin peligros ¡Creo que no se puede pedir más¡. Bueno sí, ¡que se repita¡.

Yo no corro ni monto en bici con los super hombres que tenemos, pero me encanta ser de "la sambu" aunque solo sea por compartir momentazos como los de este finde,muy esperados y emocionantes que no sabiamos muy bien por donde iban a salir, pero que han sido de lujo.Aunque yo no haya podido navegar hasta la isla del tesoro, ni trepar y descender al gran arbol( como otras) que dieron un gran ejemplo, me he divertido solo disfrutando de las risas,las super comilonas y la felicidad de ver un gran grupo de niños sin apenas discursiones(salvo algun palo en las costillas).Espero que en la proxima mi estado fisico sea un poco mejor para compartir con todos vosotros a tope lo que vaya surgiendo.Gracias a todos por preocuparos de mi espalda.A sido un placer descubrir que Cerceda y alrededores esta llena de grandes amigos a los que todavia no habia descubierto¡con lo cerca que estabais!.Espero que nos dureis muuucho tiempo.Otros mil besos a VERO Y MIGUEL que tuvieron la valentia de venir con el Inserso y repartir montones de cariño a nuestros peques. besos
